Highlights from the Recognition Gala: Celebrating Polish Heritage & Community Spirit
On Saturday, April 6, 2024, the Recognition Gala in New Britain was a spectacular celebration of Polish culture and community spirit. The event brought together an enthusiastic crowd of community leaders and Polish culture aficionados for an evening of joy and recognition.
Eight exceptional supporters of the Polish American Foundation (PAF) were honored for their unwavering dedication and years of service to the Polish community. The evening's honorees included Dorena Wasik, Adrian Baron, Margaret Malinowski, Krzysztof Krzysiek Rutkowski, Anna Kobylarz, Zoriana Kramarenko, Hania Deja, and Elzbieta Grove. Their contributions and commitment have been instrumental in promoting and preserving Polish heritage.
Guests were treated to a vibrant showcase of Polish culture with captivating performances by the Zespół Pieśni i Tańca Polanie. Their dynamic music and dance routines were complemented by the traditional sounds of Ziemia Bydgoska, a band that traveled all the way from Poland to enrich the evening. The infectious rhythms and lively melodies had attendees on their feet, dancing late into the night.
