Mission Statment

The Foundation’s mission is to serve the community by improving access to social services, to educational and career opportunities for immigrants, Polish Americans and others, and by promoting Polish cultural heritage and inter-ethnic understanding. While our special focus is on promoting Polish cultural heritage and assisting new immigrants, we serve all ethnic groups and communities.

Fundacja nasza stawia sobie za cel służenie społeczeństwu poprzez poprawę dostępu do usług socjalnych, kształcenia i rozwoju zawodowego oraz promocję polskiego dziedzictwa kulturowego i tolerancji. Koncentrując się na promocji kultury polskiej i wspieraniu nowych imigrantów jesteśmy także otwarci na wspieranie innych społeczności i grup etnicznych.

PAF 2009 Membership and Donations Drive

Our 2009 Membership and Donations Drive is nearing an end but we are still looking for members and supporters to help sustain the PAF's Cultural, Educational and Social Services programs as well as further develop the Sloper-Wesoly Immigrant Heritage and Cultural center.

Your financial assistance has never been needed more than in these difficult economic times! Please see the letter from our President Andre Blaszczynski regarding this year's drive as well as our latest Membership Brochure. You may sign up and pay on our membership page.

Please keep in mind that since the Polish American Foundation of Connecticut is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, memberships and donations are tax deductible to the extent permitted by law.

In addition to your financial support, we also ask you to consider using your time and talents in an active way to assist the Board, help us at one or more of our our events or join one of our programs. Możesz to łatwo zrobić wypełniając gotowy wzór w portalu www.NY.PL

Polska była bliska spełnienia warunków włączenia do programu ruchu bezwizowego z USA, ale od lipca próg odmów wizowych ma zostać obniżony do 3%. Oznacza to, że praktycznie Polacy nie będą już mieli szans na zniesienie wiz do USA.

Nie można liczyć, że załatwią to politycy z Polski - ich starania trwają od... 20 lat. Jedyną szansą pozostaje masowa akcja Polonii.

Apelujemy o szybkie działanie i prosimy o powiadomienie znajomych.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Send an email to the President of the United States asking for the abolition of visas for Poles! A form letter is available on www.NY.PL

Poland was close to the fulfillment of the conditions for inclusion in the visa-free travel to the U.S.. However, starting in July the percentage of visa approvals is to be reduced to 3%. This means that virtually no Poles will have the chance to obtain visas to the USA.

We are looking for is massive input from Polonia. We call for prompt action and ask you to notify your friends.
