POLISH READING GROUP

The Polish reading group meets bi-monthly at the Sloper-Wesoly house to discuss books written by or about Poles or Polish Americans. We read a variety of writing including fiction, nonfiction, poetry, classical and contemporary work and even cookbooks. The discussion is in English, however, since many of the books were written in Polish, it is possible for participants to read the book in Polish.

The meetings are on Monday evenings. They start at 7:00 and we are usually finished by 9:00. We invite anyone who is interested to join us. Feel free to join us on a regular basis or to come only for those books about which you are interested or on those dates when you are available.

All of the books are available for purchase (either from bookstores or on-line through the publisher or Amazon) or they can be borrowed from local libraries.
