Jerzy Michalski
Jerzy Michalski was born in Gliwice, Poland. His adventure with art began many years ago. The inspiration came from his mother’s love of photography. That was the beginning of seeing life and nature in pictures.
Afterwards he felt photography was not enough, and started painting pictures. Graphic portraits, later landscapes on canvas using oil. After many years of artwork he focused
on capturing moments in time, mood, reflections, color and the challenge of creating personality and originality. Jerzy hopes an intimate portrayal of time and place is held in suspension forever. As one of the founders of the Polish Society of Artists he contributes to organized cyclic exhibits, with lots of local artists including him self. Exhibits are always a success.
