Edward Zinowko was born in 1951, Poland. His passion for life and his heartfelt love for his family inspired him to see the world and all it’s simplicities in an artistic way. In 1989, in an effort to provide a better life for his wife and children, Edward moved to United States. His creative abilities and passion for the arts was inherited from his father in his early years. In Edward’s eyes, his artwork is only a hobby, but for all of those who see his creations firsthand, many question why he wouldn’t make this special gift a professional endeavor.
Edward asks for no money in return for his works. His biggest reward is the praise he gets after he unveils yet another masterpiece. The only commissions he takes are from his wife, when she needs another piece to complete her furniture collection. Because of her demands, aside from his figure wood sculptures, Edward also created unique tables, cabinets, entertainment center and planters. Edward’s art style is inspired by Art Nouveau period. Edward sculptures incorporate bassprzesadzilawood figures with unique tree roots he finds on his hikes throughout the forest.
In an effort to broaden his viewing audience, Edward has decided to join the Polish Society of Artists and make his art available to all those who are interested.
